Position Overview
At the Ralph Lauren Agency (RLA) the operations team is the central strategic partner within the Agency and to cross-functional partners across the company. Made up of project managers and production functions, this team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, processes and initiatives—acting as the conductor, bringing the right people—across all disciplines and functions—together at the right time to bring our campaigns to life.
Sitting at the intersection of Project Management and Production, the Senior Manager of Agency Operations will oversee the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Agency, driving strategy, managing teams, and optimizing processes. They will be responsible for four core components of our broader Agency operating plan.
1) Communications in the form of weekly status, monthly, and quarterly newsletters
2) Process development, documentation, and evolution
3) Data gathering, analysis, and reporting
4) Maintaining templates, tools + systems
This role requires a strong understanding of the creative process, resource and project management as well as a collaborative approach grounded in relationship building with expert communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Project Management and Production to document existing processes
- Establish net-new process as gaps are identified by building, testing, and rolling into existing workflow
- Build and maintain regular communications strategy for the agency, including weekly status, monthly and quarterly newsletters
- Maintain agency documentation in a centralized location for easy access and sharing
- Data gathering, analysis and reporting to assess overall agency capacity, impact, and workload
- Maintaining templates, tools + systems to streamline project and production management
- Assist Project Management and Creative Leadership with project assessment and resourcing.
- Build strategic partnerships across the Agency
- Control the flow of information by collecting, organizing, and sharing the appropriate details at the appropriate time.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Routinely prioritize balancing the pursuit of opportunity and the application of resources appropriately for maximum benefit to the business.
- Regularly provide updates for all project stakeholders.
- Schedule and lead productive status meetings
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Strategic account management experience at an Agency or in a high-paced environment with a background in project management/creative operations
- Experience working with creative and marketing teams
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) who has a successful track record building relationships
- Analytic, data-driven thinker with a focus on finding innovative solutions to old (and new) challenges
- Experience working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries to affect positive change
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Impeccable attention to detail

- Proactive in seeking feedback from leadership, cross-functional partners and peers
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
