Position Overview

To support the communication and execution of the corporate retail strategy within the Children’s store; drive a ‘customer first’ culture and lead the team to maximise store performance and profitability both in the short and long term.Key Responsibilities Managing the floor environment to ensure it represents the brand, complies with visual& directives and is effectively maintained, and managing the fitting rooms and registers in line with company guidance&&&&&&& Coaching and training the team on product, merchandising and customer service&&&&&&& Meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing expense to budget&&&&&&& Merchandising the floor in line with trading strategy&&&&&&& Delivering company customer service initiatives and continually searching for ways to improve service; managing the store in a way that always services the customer first and manages tasks second&&&&&&& Communicating clear goals and expectations to team, and providing coaching, training and constructive feedback on a regular basis&&&&&&& Maintaining professional and technical knowledge of the brand and product, and educating the store team on thisWorking with the Assistant General Manager to manage the performance and development of team members, including conducting performance reviews and agreeing Personal Development Plans to support retention&&&&&&& Maintaining schedules to report attendance, sickness and absence of team members

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience in successfully leading teams and managing turnover of a similar size• Goal and action oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and balance priorities• Customer and people focused with the ability to develop and implement excellence in customer service• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Passion for the brand, product and fashion• Previous line management experience in a similar role in retail• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
