Position Overview

Assistant Designer, Polo Women's Sweaters will support daily functions through line completion and stock production.  A hybrid schedule working at least 3 days a week in the office.  But must be flexible. Assist Senior Designer and communicate with HK and production partners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Research inspiration and silhouettes, patterns, textures, trims, etc.
  • Input tech pack information in  multiple programs, mainly PLM _ inputting images, detail pages, layouts.
  • Sketch and Detail sketches.
  • Create and maintain XD board Updated.
  • Archive research.
  • Grade layouts.
  • Build a trim library
  • General office organization.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator/XD
  • General yarn, knitting and construction.
  • Any exposure to sweaters is welcome.
  •  Proficient in PLM.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and foster effective working relationships with a wide range of personalities.
  • Innovative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent cross-cultural, cross division, cross functional communication and partnering skills
  • Detail and solution oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Maintain a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Ariba, Concur, Workday
  • Minimum of three days a week on site/office
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines
