Position Overview

Application Lead- IT, Product information management serve as the primary technical lead for the PIM tool (Riversand) and team leader for managing the integration of PIM tool with various platforms.

Design and lead the team in architecture and framework strategies for building the application software’s.
Define the technical strategy for effectively supporting and continually improving application frameworks and interfaces.
Ability to maintain a boarder perspective by identifying and evaluating opportunities to enhance applications across various domains/platforms within RL.  
Manages critical support activities/escalations, often including multiple internal and vendor support teams and often with visibility to senior managements.
Collaborate with infrastructure partners to ensure that application frameworks and interfaces are structured and monitored to enable robust proactive support capabilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and Multiple years of related hands-on work experience or comparable work experience. 
  • Strong understanding of PIM technologies with at least 3+ years of hands on experience in the PIM software’s preferably Riversand
  • Strong understanding of PIM/PCM/MDM concepts, Object Oriented design and programming, data modeling, entity-relationship diagrams.
  • Strong understanding on integration patterns within PIM software and middleware technologies. 
  • Exposure to digital/Ecom technologies and tools (Sales force commerce cloud) is a big plus.
  • Must be a strategic thinker that understands IT best practices and should be capable of developing and implementing a strategic plan that advances the team in line with organizational goals.
  • Must be able to execute tactically and opportunistically to achieve strategic goals.
  • Experience in the retail fashion apparel industry is a big plus.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Technical Skills: 
  • Strong knowledge on Riversand PIM software.
  • Good knowledge on .NET frameworks, SQL servers, Windows server and Microsoft technologies is plus.
  • Proficient in development and support of SQL stored procedures and, in general, is proficient in SQL, preferably in a SQL server and DB2 environment.
  • Knowledgeable in normalized database concepts and proficient in data integration mapping, development, and support.
  • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Excel concepts and macros.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and capable of developing all System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts and deliverables.
  • Experience in MicroStrategy report is a plus. 
  • Adept in agile methodologies and capable of applying DevOps and increasingly DataOps principles to data pipelines to improve the communication, integration, reuse and automation of data flows between data managers and consumers across an organization
  • Strong expertise in integrating the enterprise applications to ERP and software packages/Business intelligence tools.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Required to be highly creative and collaborative. An ideal candidate would be expected to collaborate with both the business and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables accordingly
  • Must have proven ability to support multiple projects on an aggressive timeline.
  • Must have “can do” attitude and be able to work independently.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities on assigned tasks.
  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact to functional team to discuss new requirements and provide knowledge of development environments and processes
Certification on any PIM software is preferred.
