Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our wholesale team as a FP&A Analyst. You will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Manager during the P&L consolidation for the Wholesale channel in EMEA as well as supporting the inventory reserves process for the Wholesale & Retail business. Wholesale and will work together with key business partners to support the group’s baseline financial operations including support for divisional budgeting/long range planning, monthly forecasting, and monthly financial close and reporting processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Wholesale & Retail Inventory reserves

·        Support inventory reserves calculation during month-end, forecast, and budget across all channels: Wholesale & Retail

·        Effective business partnership with Integrated Business Planning teams to achieve common business objectives such as improving aged inventory balances

·        Validate with main business partners any decisions around excess stock, carryovers, de-reservation, transfers, third party liquidation, disposals.

·        Monitor and signal inventory headwinds in a timely manner enabling implementation of course correct actions to reduce business impact.

·        Partner with inventory accounting team to streamline inventory processes as the business evolves

·        Serve as the key contact for financial topics related to EMEA’s inventory reserves

·        Perform ad hoc analysis on various projects regarding aged inventory & inventory reserves

Wholesales Sales & Gross Margin

·        Support FP&A Manager during month end close, forecast and budget, perform variance analysis and communicate conclusions; update, maintain and reconcile our reporting files across systems, liaise with GL team and inventory accounting for variance analysis

·        Prepare monthly reporting per region and support internal reporting across EMEA & US Corporate

Wholesale Operating Expenses

  • Support month-end close and forecasting processes in coordination with the FP&A team. Identify and analyze variances and make adjusting entries as necessary.
  • Support in building SG&A financial forecast in liaison with all EU subsidiaries. Identify, analyze, and interpret expense and cost trends on a monthly basis.
  • Other duties including ad hoc requests and special projects as required.

Scope: role covers the RL EMEA region, which includes UK, Germany, Italy, France, Iberia, and Scandi

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·        First experience in main audit firm preferable, FP&A or Business Controlling strongly desired.

·        Strong communication and influencing skills.

·        Natural team player and ability to establish sound business partnerships.
