Position Overview
Working within a newly formed team, this is a pivotal role developing and implementing strategies for Ralph Lauren external partnerships. The scope includes operational marketing activities, stakeholders’ management, performance evaluation, and event management with focus on the Luxury lines portfolio.
You will have demonstrated expertise in luxury marketing, with sound understanding of the high end consumer and a strong sense of brand judgement and customer centricity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and cultivate strategic partnerships, new and existing, that resonate with Ralph Lauren brand values
- Develop commercial & brand sensitive partnership activations engaging with all key internal stakeholders
(Sales, Buying, Merchandising, Brand Growth, PR & Communications, CRM, Customer Insights, Clienteling, Media) - Develop strong internal and external partnerships with a continuous focus on relationship management, fostering new ideas and exploring new opportunities
- Create the “Ralph Lauren standard” for partnerships’ scope and a clear “scorecard” to evaluate performance
- Negotiate with third parties to establish the most effective brand activations
- Establish acquisition mechanics for 1.mass data collection and for 2.ELITE clients recruitment and track ROI
- Develop insights for senior leadership, employing 360 storytelling with advocacy for strategic optimizations.
- Demonstrate the capability to plan, manage, amplify and evaluate complex & fast-moving projects and ensure alignment & communication across all teams & stakeholders
- Advance project effectiveness through opportunities driven by relevant insights, reaching the high-end customer and brand goals
- Stay current and knowledgeable on new developments, trends, and technologies in the luxury industry
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Well-versed in all aspects of Marketing and strong understanding of the luxury industry and knowledge of key European markets - eg. UK France Italy & Germany
· Outstanding marketing credentials including strategic analysis, brand positioning, communications and a track record of working on multi-channel brand amplifications
· Organized, efficient ways of working at all times, managing multiple project progress files & trackers
· Collaborative and proactive attitude with a test-and-learn mentality
· Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
· Exemplary written and oral communication skills with experience producing content for presentations, mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
· Genuine passion for fashion and a sense of luxury
