Position Overview

Responsible for leading end-to-end product lifecycle across Polo Men’s and Polo Women’s footwear. Drives alignment across design, development, sourcing, and planning to ensure product is delivered on time, meets brand standards, and achieves commercial and margin targets. Acting as a key connector across teams to deliver best-in-class product creation.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Brand-Level Product Ownership

  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle for Polo Men’s and Polo Women’s footwear from concept through commercialization
  • Ensure alignment to brand vision while driving consistency in execution across both businesses
  • Identify opportunities to scale core product, improve efficiencies, and support volume growth

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Design, Development, Sourcing, and Planning to align on seasonal priorities, timelines, and product strategies
  • Act as key point of contact across brands to ensure clear communication and execution
  • Proactively identify risks and drive solutions to maintain on-time delivery

Team Oversight & Support

  • Provide direction and support to team in clarifying priorities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Elevate team execution through strong organization, accountability, and best practice sharing
  • Step in as needed to resolve escalations or critical path challenges

Sample & Production Execution

  • Oversee sample development from proto through SMS/SRS and bulk handoff
  • Ensure timely creation and management of POs, factory communication, and sample tracking
  • Partner with factories and regional teams to mitigate delays, manage risks, and maintain quality standards

PLM & Data Management

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data within PLM systems across both brands
  • Oversee BOM creation, costing inputs, and product setup in alignment with brand direction
  • Support costing processes in partnership with development and sourcing teams

Materials & Development Coordination

  • Support seasonal material development strategies, including research, sourcing, and vendor alignment
  • Maintain accurate and centralized material libraries and seasonal files
  • Participate in readiness meetings to ensure materials and product data are aligned

Commercialization & Product Readiness

  • Ensure all products are prepared for SRS and bulk production with proper approvals in place
  • Coordinate fit sessions, wear testing, and proto reviews to ensure product meets quality and comfort standards
  • Drive accountability across teams to deliver production-ready goods

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Advanced proficiency in PLM systems
Ability to partner cross‑functionally to support costing targets, margin goals, and system improvements
Highly detail‑oriented with strong process discipline across seasons and assortments
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment at senior levels
Confident decision‑maker who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
