Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $62000 - $95935 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

Support sales and profitability of the DTC – North America product line through managing functions of distribution and retail analysis for Womens Collection.  Execute and replenish distribution plans that support the financial objectives of the assigned division.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Ensure the financial success of one or more departments by meeting or exceeding sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment (GMROI) and inventory turn goals

Utilize current systems to monitor basic and fashion allocations to support financial goals

Develop and implement allocation strategies for seasonal products and peak selling periods that support style selling trends and optimize available inventory

Maintain accurate unit forecasting by department by utilizing the Unit Distribution Forecast tool

Ensure inventory levels support style/color/size and APS goals

Recommend buy quantities/ store distribution based on APS and WOS.  Collaborate to determine minimum/maximum quantities for lower volume stores - Preseason/In season

Maintain inventory flow, store capacities, new store goals, repurpose and space allocation/fixture projects

Maintain style and fixture minimums and maximums provided by Buying and Brand Presentation

Adjust allocations strategies accordingly and execute action plans based on business climate

Manage seasonal inventory appropriately to achieve "zero out" dates

Ensure product flow to stores maintain proper in-stock levels

Analyze and recap style/color/size selling trends across the various store attribute filters (destination, climate, alpha, district) pre and post season

Generate store reports weekly and monthly (including: in stock report, key item recaps, etc.) and make recommendations based on analysis

Create appropriate size breaks by product category to support selling

Execute pre-pack optimization strategies

Participate in distribution meetings, business reviews, product reviews, store visits and other business meetings sharing allocation opportunities and strategies

 Create in-season store tiers as needed based on current trends to support initials and flow allocations

Create in-season minimums to be used in allocations to maintain in-stocks

Establish and maintain effective working relationships within both the allocation team and the cross-functional Product team (Planning, Buying, Brand Presentation, Distribution Center, Stores, etc.)

Communicate with peers to ensure consistency of information; share best practices and develop systems knowledge

 

Responsible for continuous education on various tools and core competencies in relation to development plan
