Position Overview

The Analyst, People and Development Information Technology plays an integral role in the implementation of a global Workday HCM solution for Ralph Lauren. This person partners with all functional areas of the People and Development (P&D) function as well as the business community, as needed, to provide innovative solutions. The Analyst supports the Workday implementation team by providing techno-functional expertise throughout all phases of the implementation and leverages prior knowledge of Workday to align business needs with Workday implementation practices.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Applies Workday functional and technical experience to resolve production problems, and to develop new solutions to the Workday HCM solution, as requested by P&D users
  • Partners with various P&D and business functional teams to optimize design and configuration of the Workday HCM system, ensuring efficiency, consistency and accuracy of Human Resources data and processes
  • Resolvesthe functional issues and supports day-to-day P&D business team queries
  • Prepares and maintains Workday user documentation
  • Serves as a first line resource on Global support  to troubleshoot issues with Workday processes, integrations, notifications, security, etc
  • Participates in deployment of semi-annual Workday releases

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring and supporting Workday HCM is essential
  • Understand the Business process and implement the configuration on business process
  • Prior experience with Workday HRIS and reporting using Workday modules essential
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
  • Build test plans and execute tests under the supervision of  Manager, Business Shared Services
  • Functional and Technical experience in at least one of the following
    • Workday HCM
    • Workday   Absence
    • Workday Compensation
    • Workday Integration / Report design and development
  • Knowledge of ticket tool system (Sevice Now  & Jira  are desirable) to prioritize, manage service request
  • Development of standard management reports, people metrics and dashboards
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • Multiple years related work experience  with minimum 3+ years experience on Workday
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, HR, Information technology etc
  • Workday certification is a Plus
