Position Overview

Ralph Lauren’s is looking for an Adobe Experience Manager Workflow Developer to support its Digital Asset Management services. Ralph Lauren has developed a cutting edge DAM and is looking for motivated individuals to maintain and enhance the system. 

 

This role is responsible for developing and enhancing workflows within AEM. The selected candidate will posses expert Java skills as well as experience with developing workflows within AEM. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of solutions for the company’s AEM system. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand the Strategy and Vision for Ralph Lauren’s asset management program and its intersection with other data management solutions (MDM & PIM). 
  • Lead the technical design and development of AEM solutions. 
  • Implement and maintain testing and AEM performance and stability metrics 
  • Perform deployments of the developed AEM solutions. 
  • Participate in solution design discussions with key IT/Business partners to assess, develop and document requirements 
  • Provide necessary support in maintaining Ralph Lauren’s asset management systems. 
  • Support Data migration / Data integration relevant activities 
  • Provide day to day production support and uptime for the applications 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Computer Science or related degree 
  • 4+ years developing Java web applications or similar applications 
  • Experience managing an AEM solution 
  • Expert knowledge of Java Web Applications utilizing Spring or a similar technology 
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing Web application, Web Content Management (WCM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions using AEM platform. 
  • Knowledge of SOLR and internet search technologies 
  • Extensive experience with cloud hosting technology, including Azure and AWS infrastructure 
  • Able to write JUnit based Test Cases for AEM Services and Servlets 
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server and Java systems 
  • Experience in AEM component development, workflow development and integrating AEM with other applications.  
  • Expertise in AEM and associated technologies like Sling, OSGI, Felix, Jackrabbit, JCR, CRX. 
  • Excellent communication, social, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written 
  • Exceptional customer management skills including consulting and training; strong desire for customer success 
  • Proven ability to navigate constant change and excel in high-stress situations while maintaining a clear line of communication with customers 
  • Experience with long term operation, monitoring and upgrade of enterprise software 
  • Ability to demonstrate AWS and Azure cloud services; advanced Adobe Command/Control systems for utilizing as the next-gen cloud management solution
