Position Overview

This position will take the lead and manage APAC projects to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support business growth. This role oversees end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational readiness across multiple retail touchpoints.
This role will coordinate the efforts of other functions in the company including but not limited to Retail Operations, Retail Business Team, Legal, IT, P&D, Payroll, Hospitality, Supply Chain, etc…. to deliver projects/initiatives according to plan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to the function teams and local operations team, to ensure the organization’s objectives are met. This includes establishing performance scope, objectives and success criteria in alignment with business priorities.
  • Drive execution of retail operations projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes

Stakeholder Management:

  • Managing relationships with external stakeholders such as other vendors, and business partners. This includes negotiating agreements, developing and managing contracts, and overseeing the implementation of partnerships and collaborations.
  • Engage and align cross-functional teams.  Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations across all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates to leadership.

Operational Excellence:

  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.  Ensure compliance with retail standards and policies during project rollout.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and drive continuous improvement.

Change Management & Training:

  • Develop change management strategies to support smooth adoption of new processes.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for retail and functional teams.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Responsibilities:
  • 7–9 years’ project management experience in retail industry within a regional or matrixed organization is essential.
  • PMP and/or equivalent relevant project management experience.
  • Knowledge in strategic planning or business planning forecasting.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of retail business and industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree holder (or equivalent experience).
  • Managing resources efficiently, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrating excellent leadership skills, such as developing relationships and inspiring others.
  • Developing plans and analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
  • Identifying problems and proposing solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Analytical, commercially minded, and data-driven in approach to prioritization.
  • Passionate about brand storytelling and delivering premium management experiences at scale.
