Position Overview
This is a commercially minded, strategic and people-focused position. In your role as Senior Wholesale Sales Operations Manager, you will play a vital role within the UK and IRE markets. Through effective leadership of your team and strong business partnerships, you’ll contribute to the success of wider Wholesale strategic priorities through driving operational efficiency, supporting revenue growth, and working in close coordination with the regional sales team and other functional areas. These include Finance, Logistics, Business operations and Fulfilment/Revenue teams to fulfil internal business requirements as well as those of our customers. You will liaise closely with senior management on the strategic direction and contribute your operational, analytical and leadership skills to ensure efficiency in the running of day-to-day business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Oversee day-to-day operations across the UK/ IRE wholesale channel. Accountable for KPI’s to achieve & exceed regional & EMEA targets including order release, fulfilment, on-time delivery and reorder sales & returns & credit note processing.
· Act as the key operational partner to the UK & IRE Wholesale Sale team, Identifying and implementing improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity ensuring alignment on strategy, targets and executional priorities.
· Continuously seek to achieve operational and customer service excellence.
· Risk analysis of financial targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
· Working with ERP and utilizing additional systems to support and maximize business operations
· Maintain and build strong working relationships with both internal teams and customers. Partnering cross-functionally & cross regionally with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives and output.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale partners, acting as an escalation point for operational issues.
· Work closely with our European headquarters to ensure common targets are met and alignment with EMEA business processes.
· Lead the roll out and adoption of new wholesale tools, processes, and best practices across the team and wider stakeholders.
· Lead, coach, and develop a team of wholesale operations professionals, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high performing culture.
· Set team goals, monitor performance, and implement development/ succession plans to grow capabilities and support career progression.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Proven track record in related role
· Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
· A strong understanding of the wholesale business & operational processes within an international fashion apparel business.
· Understand the dependencies within a wholesale environment and the need to work closely with other partners to achieve common results.
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
· Has the ability to confidently engage with and influence senior management.
· Possesses strong analytical skills: Leverages data to make strategic decisions.
· You are pragmatic, a problem solver, thrives under pressure, and excels at multitasking - and make decisive and timely decisions while acting with influence and action.
· Possesses a strong strategic vision but is also comfortable taking a hands-on approach to achieve results.
