Position Overview
Responsible for designing and managing compensation, benefits, and employee recognition programs to attract and retain talent for Ralph Lauren South Asia
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop competitive salary structures and benefits programs that help attract and retain talent in line with the organization’s guidelines and market trends
- Analyze compensation data and conduct market surveys to ensure the organization offers competitive total rewards and maintains pay equity
- Evaluate job levelling / job pricing / comp-ratio reviews utilizing global career framework methodology
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to optimize offerings and costs
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and support various audits (internal, statutory, compliance) and ensure timely closure of audit action items
- Act as the primary contact for labor-related matters, coordinate with compliance consultants, and engage with labor authorities when necessary
- Implement reward programs (i.e. base pay, incentives, benefits, well-being/ mental fitness etc.) aligned to RL’s global reward philosophy & strategy
- Demonstrate deep business knowledge, participates in discussions and lead training sessions with executives and understand fundamental business drivers needed for success
- Keep abreast of trends and best practices in industry through membership of HR societies, and industry compensation & benefits forums
- May lead and/or participate in global total rewards projects that involve development and/or re-design of existing total rewards programs
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Experience of working in GCC preferable exposure to the apparel sourcing industry is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- High level of analytical acumen and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with the highest level of integrity.
