Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is embarking on a multi-year transformation journey to expand our efforts to deliver on our sustainability goals and meet emerging regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations around product and supply chain transparency and accountability. We are assembling a cross-functional team under a new program called Transparency and Traceability (TNT) which will be responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of new data requirements and processes across the business. This work will include scaling the traceability of our products and raw materials within our source base, expanding our labor and environment due diligence programs to upstream suppliers, enabling product impact disclosures and strengthening data controls for corporate reporting. The core teams involved include TNT, Sourcing, IT, Sustainability, Worker Well-Being, Legal & Compliance, Public Affairs and Product Management.
As the System Associate Architect for TNT, your role will be instrumental in designing and developing a robust and scalable platform that enables end-to-end visibility into Ralph Lauren’s supply chain and product journey. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, evaluate technology options, and ensure the successful implementation and integration of the TNT technology platform into Ralph Lauren’s systems landscape.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

System Integration:
• Lead the design and integration of the TNT technology platform into Ralph Lauren’s systems landscape.
• Extend existing architecture to tailor to the requirements of the TNT program.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive system architecture for the TNT platform.
• Define technical requirements, data models, and integration points.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Coordinate across internal application teams to ensure data and system integration including design, development and data validation, data quality.
• Lead data integration/data cutovers, releases working closely across all stakeholders.
• Work with the TNT technology vendor and business partners to determine program sequencing and ensure the quality of the deliverables.
• Work with the Ralph Lauren Architecture team to ensure alignment on system & data architecture, flows and integrations across the business.
Data Integration:
• Design and implement data integration strategies to capture and consolidate data from various sources.
• Work collaboratively with various IT and other business partners to ensure seamless integration of data across the matrix of applications
• Plan and implement systemic ways to ensure data quality in the long run
Security and Compliance:
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
Scalability and Performance:
• Design the platform to accommodate future growth and increasing data volumes from an integration standpoint.
• Optimize performance and ensure efficient data processing as required for integration data exchanges.
Technical Documentation:
• Create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, data models, and integration specifications.
Team Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on integration requirements & application configuration as needed.
• Work closely with Business , IT teams to understand the application/data integration requirements and translate into functional and technical requirements
• Comfortable working with unknowns and coordinate with various IT groups to ensure data and system alignment for integration
• Lead integration design workshops for problem identification, stakeholder engagement, ideation & feature drafting
• Lead Design / Feature Workshop sessions to ensure Integration Features and User Stories are aligned to the needs of the business
• Collaborate with IT operations and support teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure new features are well defined and ready for development, partnering with business leadership
• Work with change management lead to develop + coordinate training, communication & onboarding for target audiences

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in that 5+ years in Integration Architecture & design
• Worked as Integration architect on complex enterprise systems/package implementations
• Prior experience in working on integration with Product / Supplier data management systems/ ERP preferred
• Experience in successful business transformation integration projects and strategic initiatives
• Strong background in software engineering principles and practices
• Experience with Agile, DevOps methodologies, project planning and risk management
• Technical Skills:
• Understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and services
• Expertise in API design, integration platforms and middleware
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and infrastructure
• Understanding of security best practices, including data encryption, identity management, and compliance regulations
• Preferred familiarity with traceability technologies / platform.
• Proficiency in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment across the globe
