Position Overview

Communicate and coordinate with the country finance teams and other business units to establish an effective application support service on Master Data Governance related tasks. You will maintain master data per established procedures and in compliance with the relevant SOX controls on Finance data and item definitions; also, you will assist in master data and reporting tool management/analysis and facilitate system migration and enhancements which are related to finance projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the contact point and being the go-to person for all daily operations of master data requests
  • Communicate with Customer Ralph Lauren (RL) Internal users) as in terms of requests and possible solutions
  • Process finance master data registration e.g. vendor/customer/ledger setups and Item definition with accordance to Ralph Lauren Internal Audit standard.
  • Analyze database and operation workflows, learn the pattern and maintain alignments
  • Monitor closely with data quality and collaborating with businesses / countries to solve common data problems & create business value
  • Effectively manage a high volume of requests while maintaining strict controls and data governance standards

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Degree holder in Finance or related disciplines and have rotation within Finance
  • 3 years or above relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Chinese)
  • Team focused, with the ability to partner effectively and establish working relationships with various teams and levels
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel
  • Use of Power Apps and/or RPA tools is a plus
  • Experience with SAP or D365 ERP a plus
  • Prior experience in Master Data, Audit, Reporting or Data Governance roles a plus
