Position Overview

As part of Ralph Lauren’s Next Generation Transformation (NGT) initiative, we are replacing core operating systems (SAP, Island Pacific, and Microsoft D365) with a unified Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. This strategic investment will enable the company to standardize operations globally across business functions such as Planning, Sourcing and Buying, Retail and Wholesale, Logistics and Distribution, and Finance.

The ERP+ Functional Lead will play a critical role in shaping this transformation by working with a team of business process leaders, IT domain experts, and ERP vendor representatives. This role will drive functional integration, system architecture, and business process alignment to ensure successful ERP implementation.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional deliverable leader, collaborating with the Systems Integrator (SI) Design/Build partner to define approach, quality standards, and scope controls across all business process teams.
  • Represent integrated S4 Fashion functionality in the Design Authority, ensuring alignment across program stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional solutions that support end-to-end business processes and ERP capabilities.
  • Lead SAP change control and transport management processes for all system configurations.
  • Develop and lead an integrated approach for data migration, reporting & analytics, and security authorizations.
  • Oversee the mapping of AS-IS and TO-BE processes, ensuring a seamless transition to the new system architecture.
  • Coordinate interim operations requirements, including reporting, special processing, and cutover strategies, to support phased ERP deployment across global regions.
  • Establish governance and best practices for program management processes, collaborating with technology and consulting partners.
  • Support organizational readiness, stakeholder alignment, and change management efforts to ensure smooth ERP adoption.
  • Facilitate global collaboration across regions, aligning functional requirements with overarching business goals.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with the strategic roadmap for NGT ERP transformation, focusing on the Design Phase initiated in Q4 FY25.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Many years of SAP experience, with multiple years in S4 Fashion/Retail.
  • Experience in a cross-functional SAP leadership role.
  • Strong background as a Solution Architect in S4 Fashion/Retail.
  • Expertise in SAP configuration, change management processes, and transport management.
  • Proven ability to drive integrated ERP solutions across multiple business domains.
  • Experience in data migration, reporting & analytics, and security authorizations.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work in a global, cross-functional team.
  • Ability to manage complex transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
