PRZEGLĄD STANOWISKA

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Lead Manager to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of consumer technology solutions within the Ralph Lauren Consumer Technology division. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on solution oversight across mobile, backend, API, integration, and AI-enabled platforms. The individual will be responsible for shaping scalable architecture, driving engineering best practices, guiding a high-performing team, and ensuring successful delivery of business-critical digital initiatives.
 
This position requires close collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, DevOps, QA, Architecture, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will lead technical direction, mentor engineers, manage delivery across multiple workstreams, align engineering solutions with business priorities, and ensure applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and integrated effectively with enterprise platforms and services.

KLUCZOWE OBOWIĄZKI I ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCI

Technical Leadership and Solution Ownership: Lead the end-to-end technical direction for consumer technology initiatives, define solution approaches, establish architecture guardrails, and ensure alignment with business and platform strategy.
Team Leadership and People Management: Mentor, coach, and support engineers across the development lifecycle, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and help build a strong, collaborative engineering team.
Delivery Management: Drive execution across multiple workstreams, manage priorities, remove delivery blockers, and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time and in line with business expectations.
Architecture and Engineering Standards: Guide application design across frontend, backend, integration, and API layers while promoting reusable design patterns, coding standards, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, Architecture, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to translate goals into actionable technical plans and successful releases.
Risk, Quality, and Operational Excellence: Oversee technical risk management, code quality, testing discipline, production readiness, and support models to ensure resilient and reliable application performance.
Enterprise Integration and Platform Enablement: Ensure solutions integrate effectively with enterprise systems, data services, and AI-enabled capabilities while supporting long-term platform evolution.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve engineering practices, accelerate delivery, modernize platforms, and introduce technologies that enhance business value and user experience.

DOŚWIADCZENIE, UMIEJĘTNOŚCI I WIEDZA

Technical Skills:
Strong experience leading the design and delivery of scalable digital applications across frontend, backend, API, and integration layers.
Solid understanding of modern application architecture, system integration patterns, security principles, and performance optimization across enterprise environments.
Experience guiding engineering teams working with technologies such as React Native, Node.js/NestJS, GraphQL, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
Ability to review technical designs, influence architectural decisions, and ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, and aligned to business requirements.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, observability, testing strategies, release management, and secure software development practices.
Experience with enterprise integrations, service orchestration, and collaboration across platform, infrastructure, and business teams.
AI Integration:
Awareness of AI-enabled platforms such as Azure AI Foundry and the ability to evaluate, guide, and govern the adoption of intelligent capabilities within enterprise applications.
Collaboration & Professional Experience:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and communicate technical strategy, delivery status, and solution trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience mentoring engineers, supporting career development, conducting technical reviews, and driving engineering excellence across teams.
Strong professional experience managing delivery across development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality, Testing & Delivery:
Experience establishing quality standards, reviewing testing strategies, managing technical debt, and driving reliable delivery practices across teams.
Knowledge of production support models, release governance, application security, operational readiness, and engineering processes that support stable and scalable delivery.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, technical leadership, and delivery management, including experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
