POSITION OVERVIEW


We’re hiring a Manager Belonging & Equity APAC – based in Hong Kong or Japan.

The Manager Belonging & Equity APAC plays a key role in advancing the Belonging & Equity agenda across the region. This role supports the execution of regional priorities aligned with enterprise strategy, partnering closely with APAC People & Development teams, business leaders, and cross functional stakeholders to deliver an inclusive and engaging employee experience across diverse markets.

The role requires a collaborative, execution focused practitioner with strong judgment, cultural fluency, and project and stakeholder management capabilities. The ability to translate strategy into clear plans, coordinated programs, and high-quality execution is critical.

This role leads the coordination and delivery of regional initiatives, employee community engagement (including Employee Impact Groups), communications, and reporting, ensuring priorities are well planned, clearly communicated, and effectively implemented. Working closely with markets and communities, the role brings Belonging & Equity priorities to life in practical, locally relevant ways.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the execution of the APAC Belonging & Equity agenda, aligning regional priorities with enterprise strategy.
  • Partner across functions to deliver impactful, well-coordinated initiatives that advance an inclusive employee experience.
  • Translate strategy into structured plans, ensuring initiatives are thoughtfully designed, clearly communicated, and executed with strong discipline and follow through.
  • Partner across People & Development, cross functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, coordination, and high-quality execution.
  • Enable and support employee communities and engagement forums, including Employee Impact Groups, in ways that foster connection, inclusion, and shared accountability.
  • Plan and coordinate regional campaigns, events, and key touchpoints that help bring belonging and equity to life across the organization.
  • Adapt initiatives and approaches to reflect the diverse cultural landscape of APAC, balancing consistency with local relevance and practical implementation needs.
  • Partner on the development and delivery of clear, inclusive, and engaging communications, presentations, and supporting materials.
  • Drive effective rollout and visibility of initiatives across the region, helping ensure strong awareness, participation, and engagement.
  • Leverage data, insights, and employee feedback to track progress, support decision making, and strengthen program effectiveness.
  • Maintain operational rigor across planning, coordination, reporting, budget tracking, and governance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery, enhance engagement, and strengthen the overall employee experience through Belonging & Equity efforts across APAC.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven experience in Belonging & Equity, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, or related fields, with a strong commitment to fostering inclusive and engaging employee experiences.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver with structure, discipline, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across functions, markets, and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Cultural fluency and sensitivity, with experience operating across APAC or multi-market environments.
  • Sound judgment, adaptability, and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Analytical capability to interpret data, generate insights, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and execution-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to balance structured program delivery with hands-on coordination and operational execution.
  • Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting regional or cross-market initiatives and partnering with employee communities, councils, and cross-functional teams preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills (e.g., Japanese or Korean) are an advantage, with flexibility to work across time zones and travel within APAC as needed.
