Position Overview
- Ralph Lauren (RL) has embarked on our next generation transformation focused on accelerating our strategy. This enterprise-wide transformation includes governance, implementation, and consolidation into a single global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), enhanced logistics automation across our warehouse management system (WMS), and enhanced connectivity across all planning functions through process and technology improvements to support Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- The objective of the IBP Program is to transform planning through connectivity, automation and predictive analytics. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Business Planning Analytics, the IBP Insights & Analytics Lead will provide strategic oversite and management of the outputs of the IBP transformation work.
- This role will translate business needs into actionable analytic-focused initiatives to provide solutions and/or recommendations to enable business and/or customer excellence. It will also help facilitate strategic planning for the IBP Analytics work, helping to build and implement the analytics requirements across IBP.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivering recaps on market trends and business performance data tied to Integrated Business Planning. Preparing corresponding presentations and materials for key stakeholders and the global leadership team to share relevant information and findings. Overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of the business data required to derive actionable insights.
- Driving process alignment between Finance, Product, Supply, and Demand through technological solutions allowing for increased productivity across the end-to-end organization.
- Desire to “dig-in” and create tools, data visualizations, and presentations leveraging Ralph Lauren’s end-to-end technology suite as we look to create global visibility to “one version of the truth” in our key performance indicators.
- Helping to establish and create visibility to success metrics. Define and align on leading indicators of project success, including partner expectations, metrics, processes, and tools; Ensure processes are focused, sustainable, and deliver the right results.
- Managing priorities and resource allocation across the Integrated Business Planning Analytics team to help us reach milestones and ensure projects are completed on target.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, streamlining processes and improve the accuracy of business planning activities.
- Facilitating communication between different departments and is a champion of change as new processes are rolled out and implemented.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, with 5+ years in a leadership role is preferred.
- Thinks strategically to seize opportunities and solve problems: possesses a strong strategic vision but is also comfortable taking a hands-on approach to achieve results.
- Experience within a vertically integrated retail environment; fashion apparel experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties; translate complexity into actionable takeaways.
- Demonstrates expertise in retail industry best practices for Merchandising, Buying and Planning.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Expertise in data visualization and presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and functional teams, and multi-functionally with an enterprise mindset
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience with the end-to-end Microsoft suite, company BI tools (MicroStrategy, Oracle, etc.), and comfortability learning advanced analytics tools (ex: Dataiku)
